MSS Miniature Electromagnet Meets Holding Force and Duty Cycle Requirements

Magnetic Sensor Systems (MSS) has released a series of low-cost miniature electromagnets. Their E-66-38 Series Tubular Electromagnets is just 0.38 inches in diameter and 0.66 inches in length. To match the duty cycle and holding force requirements of a specific application, E-66-38 Series Electromagnets are available with16 different windings to select from.  Depending on the application, the duty cycle, and the required holding force, the electromagnets in this series can supply up to 26 oz. (7.2 N) of holding force and duty cycles can range from 100 percent (continuously on) to 10 percent.
