<p>Dr. Tania Loaiza Uribe is a research engineer in Ovako’s R&amp;D department. She has a bachelor’s degree focused on materials characterization in high-strength steels and a Master’s degree in advanced materials science and engineering. The research in this article was carried out in pursuit of her PhD in high-strength steels, specifically in rolling contact fatigue for bearing applications.</p>
