Zetasassi TA Type Chain Tensioners Improve Performance

The Zetasassi TA type chain tensioners from QTC improve performance in industrial automation applications by keeping constant tension in  chain drive systems. These tensioners are designed to reduce noise, transmit torque more efficiently, decrease wear, with the added benefit of increasing the life of the chains. The TA type tensioners are designed for 3/8" to 2" pitch roller chain. Identified as the QCT-TA...Series they feature a head made of polyethylene (UHMW-PE), a base made of high-tensile die-cast aluminum alloy, and slide arms made of high tensile steel (zinc plated). Their maximum operating temperature is 65°C (149°F). With over 400 spring-loaded Econobelt tensioners, which are stocked in rotational and linear movement types, you can adjust the tension on any chain or belt. They are easy to install and are maintenance-free. In typical applications, using these tensioners will result in the following benefits; 23% increase in chain life, 7% reduction in vibration, 12% reduction in noise, reduction in chain slackening, and the elimination of the need for maintenance.
