Software Update Includes Calculation Method for Scuffing

In the release 04/2010, the calculation of flash and integral temperature according to ISO/TR 13989-1 and 13989-2 is available. With the ISO/TR 13989, the newest calculation method of safety against scuffing was implemented in KISSsoft (base package ZPK). This calculation is carried out for cylindrical and bevel gears. It is, like the older DIN calculation method, split into integral and flash temperature. This gives the user the option to run the calculation of safety against scuffing as hitherto according to DIN or now according to ISO.
