SKF Progressive Lubrication Pump Increases Uptime and Reduces Maintenance Costs

SKF has launched its new Progressive Lubrication Pump (PLP), an automatic lubrication solution designed to help customers improve machine reliability, reduce maintenance effort, and lower the total cost of ownership.

Built on Lincoln and SKF lubrication expertise, PLP combines proven performance with a modern, modular design. Suitable for industrial and mobile applications, it simplifies installation, operation, and service while providing improved visibility of lubricant levels and system status.

“Every hour of unplanned downtime matters. PLP helps customers improve equipment reliability, simplify maintenance, and keep their operations running efficiently,” said Christophe Laurans, head of automatic lubrication systems.

Key customer benefits include:

Faster installation and commissioning
Reduced maintenance through improved accessibility and serviceability
Reliable lubrication that helps protect critical components
Better control through grease level monitoring and connectivity options
Easier upgrades and long-term investment protection
PLP is the first product family built on SKF's new lubrication platform, creating a foundation for future developments and expanded functionality.

“PLP delivers immediate performance benefits while providing a progressive lubrication platform that can evolve with our customers’ needs of asset reliability in mobile and fixed equipment,” said Philipp Herlein, managing director, SKF Lubrication Lifetime Solutions.
