Sensors Offer Rotational and Angular Measurement

Pepperl+Fuchs recently introduced PMI360DV Rotational Measurement Sensors with analog output.  Available in three models to satisfy varied application requirements, PMI360DV are multi-function inductive-based sensors that provide highly flexible operation and user-settable, minimum range of zero to 90, and a maximum range of zero to 360 degrees to satisfy a wide variety of rotational or angular measurement sensing needs.  Material handling machinery applications include feeders, conveyors, turning tables and web handling. PMI360DV angular measurement sensors enable users to set the measurement range and rotation direction, PNP output signal width and zero position, with dedicated buttons for each configurable function to simplify set-up. Users will benefit from voltage or current output with repeatable accuracy to 0.5 degrees and resolution to 0.2 degrees. LED indicators provide visual status for power, lost target and configuration lock variables. Models with up to three independent PNP outputs are available, enabling a single sensor to replace non-configurable multiple-sensor mounting arrangements.
