Introduction to Electric Machines and Drives
Madison, Wisconsin. In the last 30 years, the introduction of power electronic drives with motors has led to new design opportunities. The increased integration of these drives and machines has triggered a leap in productivity, efficiency and system performance. This hands-on course will give attendees a solid introduction in areas like AC systems and three-phase circuits, electromagnetics, basics of AC machines, induction motors, synchronous machines, converter power electronics and more. By participating in this course, attendees can earn 20 professional development hours (PDH) or 2.0 continuing education units (CEU). This event includes instructors from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Ryan Consulting and UTC Aerospace Systems.
