Essential Concepts of Bearing Technology


Desert Willow Conference Center, Phoenix, Arizona. The American Bearing Manufacturers Association (ABMA) continuing education program will get attendees up to speed on bearing basics. This course will offer knowledge in rolling bearing types, bearing loads and applications, mounting methods, contact stresses, bearing load sharing, bearing pre-load, materials for ball and roller bearings, concepts in friction, ball and roller bearing deflections, failure modes and life standards. Attendees will receive a copy of Rolling Bearing Analysis, Essentials Concepts of Bearing Technology, 5th Edition as well as continuing education units upon successful completion of this course.
