Belting Technology Conference (BTC)

AMMEGA Group, global provider of belting solutions for conveying and power transmission, announced that their premier industry event, The Belting Technology Conference (BTC), is returning from May 12-14, 2025, at the Chateau Elan Resort & Conference Center in Braselton, GA. Building on the strong foundation set by the previous event in 2022, this year’s BTC promises an even more dynamic and interactive experience, bringing together a larger audience of industry professionals, thought leaders, and innovators in conveying and power transmission. Registration for the event is open and includes access to two keynote speakers, over 20 breakout sessions, manufacturing tours, belting expo, panel discussions and several networking opportunities.
“We’re proud to host the Belting Technology Conference again this year and gather some of the most prominent decision-makers in the industry,” said Tom Doring, president of Americas at AMMEGA. “Whether you’re an engineer, manufacturer, or a distributor, our event will offer an unparalleled opportunity to gain valuable insights into the newest belting technology, as well as to expand your professional network.”
Industry professionals from around the globe will converge to explore the cutting-edge advancements in belting technologies, discuss market trends, and exchange ideas shaping the future of the belting industry. The attendees will benefit from a comprehensive agenda featuring topics such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the role of digitalization in smart operations.
The event will also feature over 20 technical breakout sessions with more niche topics for various industries – facilitating a more personal environment for discussion and questions on nuanced themes. Food and beverage-focused sessions will cover positive drive, hygiene, and food safety; packaging-focuses sessions will cover corrugated and specialty applications; and logistics-focused sessions will dive deep into enhancing uptime and sustainability.
As part of New Belting Expo, AMMEGA will have an array of solutions on display, including the latest advancements in belting materials and applications, all in one immersive exhibition space:
  • Food & Beverage solutions, including spiral conveyors, Soliflex conveyor, Duratemp, and AmmDrive, will highlight the importance of food safety and hygiene.
  • Logistics and Material Handling solutions including ZipLock and ZipLink conveyors, as well as Smart Belting solutions, will all be available for demos.
  • Heavy Duty and Industrial application solutions, including Megalinear timing belt samples, and high-performance belts such as Titanium timing belts, Gold2 and Silver3, will showcase robustness and durability.
“We are looking forward to our keynote presentations and panel discussion from top industry voices from the likes of McKinsey and Google, who will offer insights into emerging trends and innovations. It will be an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas and address belting in the age of AI and automation, mega trends shaping the belting industry, and innovations for the next generation of belting,” said Niels van den Boogert, vice president indirect channel, conveying solutions at AMMEGA.
Thanks to AMMEGA’s Built American Proud initiative and investment into local manufacturing, job creation, and strengthening sustainable supply chains across the United States, conference attendees will also have an opportunity to tour two of their fabrication facilities for their leading brands, Ammeraal Beltech and Megadyne, who are global leaders in conveying and power transmission, respectively. AMMEGA will also host a number of special networking and social events including evening receptions and social gatherings. The event is sponsored by gold and silver sponsors, Flexco and MIR Belting respectively, as well as coordinated in partnership with NIBA – The Belting Association.
“BTC is an incredible industry event, offering an opportunity to network and learn with interactive, hands-on demos and sessions which make this two-day event a very valuable experience,” said Kyoyul Oh, vice president and general manager, power transmission and fluid power products at AMMEGA.
