Advanced Concepts of Bearing Technology


 

ACE Conference Center, Lafayette, PA. Course participants will focus on situational learning, using examples that reinforce technology and calculation methods to predict performance. By attending this advanced course, attendees will enhance their ability to apply knowledge to common situations within the business environment. Sessions will include information on bearing macrogeometry, ball/roller loading, contact stresses, internal load distribution, concepts of friction and wear, fundamentals of fatigue life theory, contact friction, bearing friction and reference speeds, permanent deformations, fatigue life prediction, testing methods, lubricants and rheology and shaft-bearing systems and performance analysis. Attendees will receive a copy of Rolling Bearing Analysis, Advanced Concepts of Bearing Technology, 5th Edition.
