AGMA Gear Basics Course

Designed for machine operators to manufacturing engineers, the course teaches students about troubleshooting the gear manufacturing process, including instruction in basic gear geometry, inspection processes and the relationship of measured results to corrections in set-up, tooling and machines for hobbing, gear shaping and tool sharpening. New for this course are sections on gear tool materials, cutter wear, and cutter failure mode analysis. $740 for AGMA members, $775 for non-members.
