MPIF Basic PM Short Course


Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, State College, Pennsylvania. This intensive three day course is designed for those new to the powder metal (PM) industry or those looking to expand their knowledge on PM developments. This includes engineers, tool designers, product designers, metallurgists, supervisors, purchasing agents, technicians, managers, hands-on workers, administrators, QC personnel and office personnel. Attendees will receive over $600 worth of PM publications including Powder Metallurgy & Particulate Materials Processing, Fundamentals of Powder Metallurgy and many more. Topics include history of PM, designing PM parts, sintering, injection molding, secondary operations and the latest high-tech PM technologies. Attendees do not need to have a technical background to benefit from attending this course.
