Lean in a High Mix-Low Volume Environment

Monee, IL. The Association for Manufacturing Excellence (AME) presents a half-day afternoon workshop at Whiting Corporation, where Lean concepts are being applied to “custom” manufacturing. This workshop will focus on visual systems as a core concept of Lean, and the presenters will give “before and after” examples of how visual systems helped to mistake-proof processes and improve productivity. The team at Whiting will also discuss how the breakdown of silos all the way from sales to product delivery has led to reduced lead times and improved customer satisfaction. $250 for AME members, $300 for non-members, $25 for AME student members.
