Implementing Lean: the Five-Stage Process

Join the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) for this web training session designed as an introduction to lean manufacturing. Participants will gain an understanding of the steps needed to help implement a lean philosophy throughout an organization. The program will help define some logical stages the culture will follow and serve as a guide through transforming into a lean entity. The five-stage process plan helps the organization identify clear direction. The plan is in no way all-inclusive of what lean can do, but it is a proven stepping process that will help an organization become lean. It will help the organization hunger for more lean thinking and foster a culture that is relentless for improvement-a particularly relevant pursuit during these challenging economic times. Cost: $100.
