E Tech Group Expands U.S. Collaborative Robotics Portfolio with Rainbow Robotics

E Tech Group recently announced an Authorized System Integrator Agreement with Rainbow Robotics that expands E Tech Group’s collaborative robotics offering for customers across the United States. Under the agreement, E Tech Group serves as a Servicing System Integrator for Rainbow Robotics’ collaborative robot lineup.

E Tech Group will deploy and integrate Rainbow Robotics collaborative robots across laboratory and industrial automation applications, including machine tending, welding, palletizing, inspection, and assembly.

“E Tech Group’s systems integration expertise, particularly in laboratory automation, made the company a natural fit for Rainbow Robotics,” said Luke (Woochang) Jung, director of Rainbow Robotics USA. “Pairing that experience with our collaborative robot portfolio gives customers a strong combination of robotics technology and engineering expertise across laboratory and industrial automation applications.”

Rainbow Robotics offers collaborative robot models for laboratory, life sciences, and food and beverage environments, including NSF/ANSI 169-certified models with IP66 protection and full-aluminum construction to support hygienic and washdown applications. The company’s collaborative robot lineup also includes application-specific capabilities such as a dedicated welding interface with built-in weaving patterns.

For laboratory automation projects, E Tech Group provides robotic work cell integration, connectivity among laboratory instruments, schedulers and LIMS platforms, controls and data integration, and validation and documentation support. These capabilities help customers integrate robotics into existing laboratory automation environments.

Rainbow Robotics collaborative robots are commercially available in the United States. Under the agreement, E Tech Group will provide installation at customer sites and first-level service, including authorized warranty-related support.
