Dillon Jaw Boring Rings Allow Better Grip on Large Diameter Chucks

Dillon Jaw Forming rings, or Jaw Boring Rings, provide uniform pressure on jaws for a more consistent bore on large diameter chucks. They allow soft jaws and full-grip jaws to be precisely machined for a firmer grip of the workpiece. Use of this device will provide a jaw surface true to the machine centerline, reduce set-up times, and increase up-times for running machined parts. These proven, self-centering rings attach to the front of jaws without tools, making installation simple and fast. They compensate for “jaw lift” even in worn chucks, which yields better part concentricity. Available in diameter-specific models or adjustable models to suit a range of diameters, they are ideal for CNC lathes. Chuck-diameter-specific versions are available for 5”, 6”, 8”, 10”, 12”,15”, and 18” chucks. Adjustable boring rings are available for 5-8”, 6-10”, and 9-12” chucks. Either style features no-tools attachment. Dillon jaw forming rings are a high-quality product which will insure years of quick, stress free set-ups.
