Compression Spring Relaxation Available for KISSsoft
The phenomenon of relaxation occurs in constant static loads of springs, which finally lead to time-dependent changes of the springing values. The calculation of compression spring relaxation is now available in KISSsoft (module FPK). The solutions are shown in relaxation diagrams. These provide the relaxation of shear stress, the time curve of relaxation and the time curve of spring force. The spring calculation values from the relaxation diagrams are determined according to EN 13906-1.
