KISSsoft AG – a Gleason Company – develops Gear Design Software for transmission engineers and gearbox designers. It is based on recognized international standards, technical literature and combines numerical and analytical methods. KISSsoft® is used across a wide range of industries, including electric vehicles, wind power, agriculture, marine, robotics, plastic gears and many others. The KISSsoft® System Module is fully integrated into the KISSsoft suite and provides a flexible, user-friendly environment for concept development, system modeling and detailed analysis. It supports the modeling of industrial gearboxes, vehicle transmissions, geared mechanisms and driveline components, enabling users to quickly develop and optimize concepts and transform them into functional designs. The module combines kinematic analysis, lifetime calculations, 3D graphics, system reports, and a programming language within a single workflow.
Leveraging the synergies between Gleason and KISSsoft, the 2025 release introduces numerous new features that further enhance Gleason’s Design–Manufacture–Measure smart loop. New modules related to cylindrical gear manufacturing have been added, bringing gear design closer to the workshop!
