BEI Industrial Encoders manufactures industrial quality incremental and absolute rotary optical encoders. These products are designed for industrial environments and provide reliable position feedback for precise speed and position control. A wide range of resolutions are available up to 80,000 cycles per turn in incremental models and up to 15 bits (32,768 counts) in absolute position models. Special products include explosion-proof, intrinsically safe and extra heavy-duty versions. Industrial grade linear encoders are also available. In addition, BEI manufactures signal conditioning electronics for optical isolation, signal splitting, counting, and pulsed outputs and other specialty interfaces.
