Baumer Introduces DSRK Strain Probe

The new DSRK strain probe from Baumer is setting new standards in tie bar strain measurement. Retaining the measuring performance of its predecessor, the DSRH with Strain-Mate technology, the DSRK uses the glued strain gauge principle. With its optimized measuring head design, the DSRK provides a stronger installation than comparable models.

The resilient stainless steel measuring head is highly-resistant to impacts and guarantees repeatability and long-term stability. Containing no elastomers, it can be used even at high ambient temperatures up to 85°C, and does not require subsequent recalibrations due to age, increasing productivity. The measuring head geometry including a stable tension mechanism simplifies installation and limits damage risk. The DSRK strain probe is available in 16 mm and 20 mm diameter and lengths of 240 to 2,000 mm. All options are available with 0-10V or 4-20mA output.
