Steinmeyer Announces Micro Manipulator System

Steinmeyer, Inc. recently announced a new high precision, lightweight, micro manipulator stage MT 105-50-LM. This stage is a suitable choice for applications in the semiconductor metrology, biomedical, miniature robotics and laser industry. With a sleek low profile design, it has a footprint of 105 mm x 151 mm, height of only 25 mm and weighs 1.0 kg. Manufactured from high strength anodized aluminum, the standard table offers a travel of 50 mm with a positional accuracy of 1 µm (micrometer), straightness/flatness runout of +/- 1 µm and repeatability of +/- 0.2 µm. Features include: preloaded cross roller bearings, fixed stops and incremental linear encoder with 0.1 µm resolution. This product can be provided as a XY stage without adapter plate and can also be configured as a XYZ system with an optional bracket. Ultra high vacuum, clean room or non-magnetic preparation is available on request.
