Altra Acquires Bauer Gear Motor

Altra Industrial Motion recently acquired Bauer Gear Motor, a privately-held company headquartered in Esslingen, Germany. Bauer is a European manufacturer of high-quality gearmotors, offering engineered solutions to a variety of industries. As part of Altra Industrial Motion, Bauer Gear Motor joins Boston Gear, with a broad offering of gearing products, including the industry standard 700 Series worm gear speed reducer.
