St-Pierre Joins Nordex USA, Inc.

Nordex USA, Inc. recently announced the appointment of Dany St-Pierre to vice president sales. A respected leader in the wind industry, with recent experience as director sales and tendering for Alstom Power Inc. and before that as the sales director for Siemens Wind Power Americas, St-Pierre will direct Nordex' sales efforts in the key North American markets. "We are very pleased that Dany will be heading this important activity for us," said Ralf Sigrist, president and CEO of Nordex USA. "Her past accomplishments and drive fit very well with the Nordex style. And her industry experience will help take our unique value proposition of technical reliability and customer focus to wind developers nationwide."

The opening of the company's nacelle assembly plant in Jonesboro, Arkansas in October and recently announced orders for turbines produced there, provide a firm foundation for heightened activity in 2011. Nordex' recent introduction of the new N117/2400, an extension of its highly successful N80/N90/N100 2.5MW product line, positions it particularly well as it provides a technology solution for increasing the wind power potential of American sites with lower wind speeds.
