AMC Expands FlexPro Servo Drive Line

Advanced Motion Controls (AMC) is proud to announce the addition of six new CANopen servo drives with Extended Environment capabilities to their FlexPro line. These new drives join AMC's existing EtherCAT Extended Environment FlexPro drives, making the FlexPro line the go-to solution for motion control applications in harsh environments.

Many motion control applications take place in conditions that are less than ideal, such as extreme temperatures, high and low pressures, shocks and vibrations, and contamination. Electronics, including servo drives, can malfunction or sustain permanent damage in these conditions. That's why AMC offers off-the-shelf extended environment servo drives within the FlexPro, DigiFlex Performance, and AxCent drive families, as well as custom-made modified servo drives to handle extreme conditions.

AMC's standard line of extended environment servo drives can achieve operation from -40°C to +95°C, operation from 25,000 meters above sea level to 400 meters below, an IP65 rating for ingress protection, and shock protection up to 25 gms for 5 minutes. And if these limits aren't enough, AMC can make custom products that exceed them.

AMC’s extended environment servo drives are built to push boundaries, operating properly in conditions where many other electronics fail. They can withstand both scorching and freezing temperatures, high and low pressures, shocks, vibrations, contamination, and other harsh conditions.
