Aerotech Offers Compact Lift Stages

Compact new MPS-SV lift stages from Aerotech deliver high performance elevation motion control for both laboratory research and high reliability production processes. The series includes two sizes (as small as 210 mm long x 52.4 mm wide x 38 mm high) and a choice of DC servomotor with rotary encoder or stepper motor.

All MPS-SV stages feature a precision-ground ball screw and preloaded crossed-roller bearings. This provides smooth and accurate geometric performance, high accuracy and repeatability and 0.05 µm minimum incremental motion. There is also a lead-screw drive option for more cost-sensitive applications. All drive train mechanics are designed for high reliability and extended service life.

MPS-SV stages are available with vacuum preparation to 10-6 Torr that includes a vacuum-rated connector. An optional mounting plate provides direct mounting to both English and metric optical breadboards. A multitude of adapter brackets and mounting compatibility inherent in the entire MPS stage family allow easy assembly of multi-axis stage configurations.
