Zero-Max ETP-Connect Provides Optimal Lobe Assembly for Pump Drives

The Zero-Max ETP-Connect was developed to simplify cleaning and maintenance of pumps. This is often required in pharmaceutical, chemical, food and beverage processing systems when cleaning and maintenance needs to be done quickly and easily. This patented device connects the pump impellor to the motor using a single actuation screw.

The ETP-Connect is a precision bushing designed just for pump applications. The  unique design configuration accurately expands the ID of the connection when the single actuation screw is tightened.  Since the expansion is caused by self-contained hydraulic pressure, the resulting force is perfectly even along all surfaces.  Most important, the bushing aligns precisely without axial movement as it is tightened. The positioning accuracy of the ETP-Connect maintains impeller concentricity resulting in reduced vibration, improved pump and motor life.

Another key ETP-Connect feature is its robust and precise design allowing it to be actuated thousands of times with repeatable accuracy and without any axial movement. An Allen wrench is all that is required to mount and lock it into position. ETP-Connect’S have sealed, clean lines that resist debris collection and clean easily without any special maintenance.
