Wittenstein Opens Production Facility in Switzerland

The Wittenstein Group, with North American headquarters outside of Chicago, Illinois, continues to expand with the grand opening of a new production site in Gruesch, Switzerland. Total cost of the state-of-the-art facility is approximately $16 million. This new production facility further ensures Wittenstein's future in rack and pinion technology. Wittenstein has had a subsidiary in Gruesch since 2000, with this arena as the latest development. This site will be the global center of design and distribution of sensor technology, as well as other innovative drive solutions including high quality gearing components like Wittenstein's extensive range of rack solutions. On site, there is space for two more construction areas of the same size.
