Wetzel Receives 2007 Influential Woman in Business Award
Sylvia Wetzel, corporate training manager for Bison Gear, and vice president of Bullock Properties, has been named one of the most influential women in business for 2007 by the National Association of Women Business Owners. Wetzel joined Bison Gear in 1994 and has been involved in marketing, information technology, international strategy and corporate training and development. She’s responsible for the Skilled Workforce Initiative Training and Internship Program, and is currently president of BisonCares, a nonprofit charitable foundation supported by Bison Gear & Engineering. Wetzel was presented her award on Oct. 24, 2007.
