Timken Signs Five-Year Contract With RWE Power

The Timken Co. signed a five year contract to supply RWE POwer AG in Essen, Germany, with anti-friction bearings. According to the company's press release, the contract covers delivery of spherical roller bearings and mounting sleeves for conveyor belts. This is the first agreement between the two companys and accounts for approximately 30% of RWE Power's bearing requirements in Germany.
