Supplementary Facility Opened to Serve Power Generator Customers

Hennig, Inc. has opened a new building in Rockford, IL for designing, engineering and fabricating enclosures for the power generator and other heavy-duty OEM markets. The facility supplements the company's main headquarters in Machesney Park, IL, where Hennig will continue using laser cutting, waterjet cutting, powder/paint coating line, metal bending machinery and other equipment that produces enclosure sections. These sections will undergo final assembly with reservoir tanks and the OE generators at the Rockford facility.

"This expansion to a new and dedicated facility will allow us to maintain the highest quality levels on these critical power generator enclosures, as well as other strategic enclosure business we seek," says Doug Robinson, Hennig's marketing director. "Just as important, it will enable us to remain ahead of the competition with streamlined efficiencies, resulting in faster delivery times. As a collateral benefit, our machine tool enclosure business will also realize improved turn times."
