Steinmeyer Adds to Rotary Stage Line

Steinmeyer, Inc. recently announced a new addition to its line of precision rotary stages. The DT240 stage is driven by a torque motor for high speed motion. With an overall height of 100 mm and width of 240 mm this stage is suitable for applications requiring space saving solutions. The DT240 has a repeatability of +/-0.0001 degrees, a max speed of 480 rpm and a continuous torque of 8 Nm. Applications include laser machining, precision wafer inspection, photonics and fiber optics. The stage is also equipped with an angular encoder with resolution of 0.0001degrees, a contactless hall sensor for a reference switch and and is manufactured from a low distortion aluminum alloy which is black anodized.
