Starrett Acquires Kinemetric Engineering
The L.S. Starrett co. acquired the assets of Kinemetric Engineering LLC for $2.3 million.
Kinemetric Engineering specializes in precision video-based metrology, specialty motion devices and custom engineered systems for measurement and inspection. Kinemetric's product line complements Starrette's existing metrology products including optical measuring projectors and vision systems.
According to Starrett's press release, the two companies will collaborate to oversee sales and support for its joint product line.
