Stafford Collars Incorporate Wide Range of Features

Custom manufactured hinged shaft and pipe clamping collars that can incorporate a wide range of bore modifications, face and O.D. treatments, handles and numerous other special features are being introduced by Stafford Manufacturing Corp. of Wilmington, Massachusetts.

Stafford Custom Hinged Collars feature a triple-link hinge and captive clamping screw and can be custom manufactured to meet a wide range of OEM design requirements. Typical modifications include square, hex, contoured and threaded bores, special O.D. and face treatments such as wrench flats and spanner wrench holes, swing-away clamping handles and more.

In addition to design modifications, Stafford Custom Hinged Collars can be manufactured from aluminum, brass, bronze, steel, stainless steel, titanium, and other alloys.  Offered in sizes from 1/8" to 13" I.D. and 1/4" to 6" W., dimensional tolerances of < 0.001", along with run-out and concentricity of < 0.001" T.I.R. can be produced, depending upon configuration.
