SKF’s New Turntables Suitable for Lazy Susan Operations

New heavy-duty turntables from SKF have been engineered for smooth and long-lasting operation in a wide range of industrial "Lazy Susan" type applications, including work and assembly stations, welding tables, swivel product displays, material container stands, and fifth wheels, among countless others. Rugged SKF turntables are offered in a variety of sizes up to 7.25" long and 2.95" high. Available in cast iron or stainless steel, they can accommodate loads ranging from 1,000 lbs. to 25,000 lbs., depending on model. All sizes can be specified as lockable or non-lockable units. Users can further choose hollow shaft versions for applications where electrical wires must pass through the unit. Customized turntables featuring extended shafts can be made-to-order as required. According to the company’s press release, SKF turntables mount quickly using recommended bolts or can be welded directly to fixtures. Their bottom flange fastens first with standard size bolts and top plates incorporate tapped holes. All bearings in SKF heavy-duty turntables are greased and sealed for life.
