Siemens to Host NX CAE Symposium

On October 23-24, 2012, Siemens PLM Software will hold its second NX CAE Symposium at the Hendrick Motorsports Facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. The two day symposium will include customer presentations, from industry leaders including Caterpillar, Hendrick Motorsports, Graham Packaging, Northrup Grumman and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, among others. A number of industries are experiencing pressure to decrease product development time and improve quality, and business leaders complain that computer aided engineering (CAE) can take too long to produce results. Siemens PLM Software’s NX CAE stands on 40 years of CAE experience and addresses these challenges through a modern and completely integrated environment. Of special note, NX CAE does not require NX CAD and can be used as a standalone pre/postprocessor with support for multi-CAD geometry. We would like you to join us as our customers offer special insights and learning’s from leveraging NX CAE, NX Nastran, and Teamcenter Simulation software.

The NX CAE Symposium will include:

•    A wide range of customer presentations illustrating how they are using NX CAE to make the right product decisions
•    An open panel discussion with leading CAE experts with topics including advanced simulation, structural analysis tools modernization and mechanical design
•    Information exchange opportunities with fellow designers and engineers from various industries
•    Several NX CAE business partners
•    Representatives from NX CAE development and support
•    Tour of the Heritage Center - Rick Hendrick’s private car collection (Photography not permitted)

The Symposium will highlight many capabilities associated with using engineering analysis to address the ever-increasing complexity of products and their lifecycles. Some of the topics covered will include:

•    Finding the right balance for simulation's interconnected representations
•    A simulation lifecycle management pilot
•    Current applications and future trends in CAE
