Shaoguan Hongda Gear Co Purchases Turnkey Nitriding System
Nitrex Metal Inc. received an order from Shaoguan Hongda Gear Co. Ltd., a Chinese manufacturer of transmission components, for a turnkey nitriding system.
The NX-1015 complete with Nitreg technology and a zero distortion process will ensure accuracy and repeatability of results and is fully qualified to maintain the dimensional stability of ring gears during nitriding. SG chose Nitreg to insure supplier compliance to the nitriding process approved by the North American manufacturer of off-road vehicles for whom the gears are being produced. The system will have the capacity to process more than 300 tons of gears annually and is expected to startup in December.
