Serapid LinearBeam Boasts Actuator for Harsh Environments

Serapid’s LinearBeam rodless actuator is available for heavy loads, long travel or harsh environments where exposure to heat, contamination and debris are contributing factors. The actuator features a thrust force up to 35,000 pounds with a full range of options. According to the company’s press release, the actuator is guaranteed over one million cycles at full load and continuous operation. Serapid’s staff is also on-hand to engineer a solution suited to the customer’s exact application requirements. The LinearBeam has been used in several quick die change applications as well as steel mill transfers, off-shore skid movements and high- temperature units and furnace loading.
