SDP Releases Pitch Timing Belts

Stock Drive Products (ISO 9001 Registered Manufacturer) recently announced a new series of 1 mm pitch polyurethane timing belts, designed for miniature applications and to run with the new 1 mm pitch timing belt pulleys. Offered with Kevlar cord reinforcement, the A 6B18M... series are stocked in 22 different groove sizes ranging from 94 mm to 559 mm (3.701" to 22.008") while the A 6G18M... series with fiberglass cord reinforcement are stocked in pitch lengths from 142 mm to 705 mm (5.591" to 27.756"). These unique belts come standard in 3 mm and 6 mm widths; however, special widths can be cut from sleeves, also available in stock. The Kevlar belts (double span) have a breaking point of 300 N per 1 mm (214 lbf. per 1/8 in.) and the fiberglass belts, also double span, have a breaking point of 165 N per 1 mm (117 lbf. per 1/8 in.). Both have a temperature range of -30 degrees C to +85 degrees C (-22 degrees F to +185 degrees F).
