Schunk Hires Regional Sales Manager

Schunk has announced the hiring of Michael Schilling as the regional sales manager for the North East. "Schilling brings more than 18 years of experience in the manufacturing industry to the Schunk Team and has a diverse background which includes mechanical engineering, design, manufacturing engineering, and system integration in the packaging and industrial automation industry," said a company spokesperson. Prior to joining Schunk, Schilling held the East Coast sales manager position at Winpak, which was in the packaging and filling equipment sector of the automation industry and Brenton Engineering, a Pro Mach Company in their automation equipment division. He started his education at Penn State in computer programming, but changed his course work to engineering and received his Associates Degree from YTI in 1991. "Schunk's commitment to quality, innovation and service will continue to develop as I establish new and existing industry relationships. My focus will be on increased product and new technology awareness to the regions industrial and education sectors," said Schilling.
