Regal-Beloit Names Mark Gliebe to Board of Directors

Mark J. Gliebe, president and CEO of Regal-Beloit Corp., was appointed to the company’s board of directors as a Class "B" director. Glieve will fill the vacancy created by the retirement of James L. Packard, formerly director and executive office. Glieve joined the company in Jan. 2005 and served as vice president and president-Electric Motors Group from January 2005 through December, when he became president and COO of the company. Prior to joining Regal-Beloit, Gliebe worked for GE Co. as general manager of GE Motors & Controls in the GE Consumer & Industrial business from 2000-2004. In that position, Glieve was responsible for GE’s motor businesses including commercial AC motors, HVAC refrigeration motors, appliance motors and controls, electric vehicle motors and controls an the capacitors business.
