R + W America Publishes the First in Coupling Book Series

R+W has released a new handbook for the design and application of precision couplings and line shafts as a part of a series of technical handbooks developed for the European manufacturing industry. The book covers basics concepts of precision couplings and line shafts are as well as complex theories and advanced sizing formulas used to determine optimum coupling selection. According to the company's press release, it is the first of two books which will be written by R+W over the course of a two year period. The next handbook, discussing the design application and use of mechanical torque limiters, is scheduled for release in 2008.
