Pradeep Saha Promoted to President and CEO of Horsburgh & Scott

Horsburgh & Scott, a large gear manufacturer, has announced that Pradeep Saha has been promoted to President and CEO. Saha previously served as the company’s vice president of sales and marketing, where in 2014 he increased sales by 20 percent, developed a new marketing strategy, implemented a disciplined CRM process, and rebranded the company with a new logo, website and brand identity. In his new role, Saha will have P&L responsibility for the company’s sales, marketing, manufacturing, financial and business development programs.

“Horsburgh & Scott is truly unique in its ability to provide new and repaired gearing products for a wide range of markets,” said Saha. “We have turnkey engineering design and manufacturing expertise to produce large open gearing up to 40 feet in diameter and gearboxes up to 16,000 horsepower. With our in-house engineering, manufacturing, heat treating, repair and rebuild facilities, plus nearly 130 years of experience, we are well positioned to increase market share and gain new customers around the world.”

Prior to joining Horsburgh & Scott, Saha held leadership positions at Ametek, General Electric, Quatech, Keithley Instruments and Photonics Systems. He has global management experience and is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management with an MBA and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University
