Pillow Blocks from QBC Feature Frelon Lined, Self-Lubricating, Aluminum Bearing

A new series of 64 pillow blocks from Quality Bearings & Components feature FrelonĀ® lined anodized aluminum bearings which carry 4 to 8 times the load of ball bearings. A 1/2" I.D. Frelon bearing will carry as much load as a 1" I.D. ball bearing. Longer service life for these self-lubricated bearings is another major benefit. Although wear rates are affected by surface finish, shaft hardness, length of travel, contamination and lubrication, these bearings last on average 4 to 8 times longer than ball bearings. The self-aligning bearings, identified as the BLAABX- and BLAUBXM Series, are stocked in precision and standard bore tolerances and in inch and metric sizes. They are designed to fit shafts that range from .250" to 2.00" and from 8 to 50 mm. They are stocked in inch and metric sizes to fit shafts that range from 3/16" to 4" (5 mm to 80 mm) diameter. Open and closed models with both precision and standard tolerances are available.
