PCB Piezotronics Publishes New Sensors Catalog

PCB Piezotronics, Inc. announced the release of a 200-page product catalog, entitled, "Sensors for Force, Load, Strain and Torque." Featured products include piezoelectric force sensors, TORKDISK rotary torque sensors and strain-gage load cells, all with the accuracy and durability to satisfy a wide range of test, measurement, monitoring and control requirements. Piezoelectric force sensors satisfy dynamic force measurement applications, such as automotive durability testing, impact, reaction, materials testing, balancing and manufacturing processes such as crimping, riveting and stamping. Utilizing rigid quartz sensing crystals, these sensors possess microsecond response times and the durability required of repetitive machinery operations. Torque sensors are offered for reaction as well as rotational torque measurements utilizing strain gage sensors with non-contact rotary transformer and digital telemetry signal transmission techniques. These sensors satisfy automotive chassis dynamometer testing, drive train testing, electric motor testing and hydraulic pump testing requirements. Load cells are offered in a variety of configurations including general purpose and fatigue-rated styles to satisfy routine and unique applications in weighing, testing, production monitoring and automotive testing applications. Additional accessory equipment including signal conditioners, cables and mounting hardware, as well as technical information, product selection guides and installation tips round out the balance of the catalogue.
