Parker’s New Drives Offer Resolver Feedback

A new resolver feedback option on the Aries servo drives gives applications the advantages of rugged resolver technology. A resolver feedback device is constructed of the same materials as the motor and contains no electronics. A resolver-equipped motor is less susciptible to the effects of temperature, humidity, dust, vibration and shock, according to the company’s press release. Users may select the all-digital Aries drive with for use with resolver feedback in addition to smart and quadrature encoders and Heidenhain EnDat absolute enocders.
