Parker Offers Linear Motion in a Small Package

The T1D and T1S ready-to-run positioners from Parker can perform and accommodate customization at the same time. Features include an aluminum base with selectable thickness for rigidity and stiffness requirements; peak forces in two sizes to 46 lbs. (203 N) and continuous forces up to 10 lbs.; bearings for maximum load, life and speed; travel lengths to 33.6" in 2.4" increments; speeds to 180" per second; acceleration to 6g; over travel limits and home sensor; and an internal thermal cutout switch to protect coil. According to the company's press release, positioners are suitable for use in lab automation, small vertical axes, medical, printing, lightweight scanning/sorting, microcopy and light assembly markets.
