Parker Hannifin Acquires Bayside Controls

Parker Hannifin Corp. acquired Bayside Controls on February 14, 2005. Specific terms of the deal were not disclosed. Bayside will be integrated into the Parker Automation Group's Electromechanical Automation Division. Bayside has a product base in electromechanical automation and combines servomotors and controls, geared drives, linear positioning systems and integrated software for customers in the semiconductor, electronics, automotive, medical and machine tool sectors. Parker's electromechanical automation division manufactures motion control products including controllers, servo and stepper drives, servo motors, CTC human machine interfaces and PC-based machine control.
