Pack Expo Preview: Kollmorgen Booth 3118

Kollmorgen will be interplaying and educating Pack Expo Las Vegas 2013 attendees about motion technologies in booth 3118 on September 23-25, 2013. Again this year, Kollmorgen is setting the stage so that visitors can have some fun while they get hands-on product knowledge. In honor of Las Vegas, Kollmorgen has a new Servo Boxing interactive demo that will showcase boxing “servo – style.” It includes our next-generation AKD PDMM programmable servo drive with the versatility, communications, power and bandwidth you need to build higher throughput, greater precision and more capable features into your machine.

Kollmorgen will feature a large scale Servo Tennis video game where participants can rally for the highest score while learning about AKD Drives and the R2A Linear Actuators  that offer a carriage bearing design that produces lower bearing friction, smoother operation and zero running clearance. Pack Expo attendees will see the VT BOLT electric motorcycle and the Segway PT, both containing Kollmorgen technology as an integral part of their functionality. Kollmorgen demos substantiate the effectiveness and significance of high update rate and precise positioning to maximize processing and packaging machine performance.

“Kollmorgen’s culture of engineering collaboration and continuous technology innovation, coupled with decades of motion control and machine automation experience, enables us to help OEMs increase machine flexibility, reliability and throughput. This year at Pack Expo we will highlight our hygienic washdown products and we are proud to share some new solutions to deliver higher levels of processing and packaging innovation and quality – from reduced cleaning time to increased longevity,” says Andy Hansbrough, market development manager.
