Oerlikon Graziano Focuses on Employee Safety and Well Being

Oerlikon Graziano presented its projects about safety and well-being of its employees in a meeting that took place on Wednesday, December 6, at the headquarters of the Unione Industriale, in Turin.

The company, which has five locations in Italy, from 2011 to 2017 reduced its lost-time accidents from 188 to 6, and aims to zero harms in the future.

"We want those who work with us and for us to work in a safe way and safe environment,"  says Oliver Dohn, Oerlikon Graziano CEO. "The working and family life of our employees is at the center of our attention. "We aim for their well-being. Our turning point, this year is to focus on the trust of our customers on product quality and punctual delivery, but also and above all on the satisfaction of our employees."

Participants of the event were the regional councilor Giuseppina De Santis, The Unions representatives, Adriano Caponetto, Oerlikon Graziano head of HR EMEAR, and Maurizia Cacciatori, testimonial of the project Fit4Life, a new program of Corporate wellness, that strongly believes that the well-being of the company is a driver for the well-being of the community.

The attention to the future is demonstrated with concrete actions such as 30 million investments in new technologies in the plants, the recruitment of 20 young engineers from January 2018 and other programs focused on the People and their needs.
