Norton Offers Grinding Solution for Ductile and Grey Cast Iron Applications

Norton Winter Ironclad Superabrasive Foundry Wheels offer a solution for ductile and grey cast iron applications such as fettling and snag grinding on casting gates, parting lines, and sprues. They feature a strong and durable bond, with up to 75% grain exposure compared to other superabrasive wheels. This allows for up to 50% more parts per wheel compared with electroplated wheels, reduced friction for cooler cutting, reduced loading, larger depths-of-cut, and a more usable abrasive for longer life. These wheels offer higher stock removal rates, increased productivity, and lower cost per part compared to other foundry product offerings.
